I have a 1993 1.3l ford fiesta mk3 I had a accident and airbage went off the car is ok just bumper and headlight but won't start now just turns over no damage to engine Is there a reset I need to do

Fuel reset button-or, Fuel Inertia Switch-cuts power to fuel pump in an accident to prevent fires starting. This switch should be in the trunk area, it is small, probably behind a trim piece or carpet, and to reset you just push the button in. Turn the key to on and you should hear the fuel pump buzz for a couple of seconds to prime the fuel system for starting. If the switch was tripped, it should now start.

Where is fuel shutoff switch location?

I don't think this vehicle is equipped with a fuel/inertia cut of switch. If there is one, your owners manual will give the location and reset procedure

Where is the fuel line shut of switch on a 1998 Honda Cr V, if it exists?

There isn't an inertia switch that is involved with fuel pump operation on your Honda - at least on North American marketed vehicles.

You likely tripped the Fuel Shut-Off Inertia Switch.
The inertia switch is located behind the trim on the right-hand
side of the vehicle, forward of the front door post, below the
fascia. Pull open the small panel in the trim to reset the switch.
Resetting the switch
To avoid the possibility of fire or personal injury, do not
reset the inertia switch if you see or smell fuel.
If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the inertia switch as follows:
Press the button!
If the switch was activated by the accident, you should feel it "click" when you reset it by pushing it.

My 2003 Ford Escape has gotten into an accident in the front end. Both airbags deployed and the vehicle is not getting fuel. How do I reset computer to be able to start up?

There is a part called an Inertia switch. It cuts the fuel. This part is usually mounted behind the front floor kick pads. It has a simple reset button.

Gas gauge stuck on full always, .Ford says 900.00 + to fix. Car runs great. What does the fuel shutoff switch do in trunk if I press it .Will it reset gauge. And how do I start the gas going again? Thanks...

The fuel inertia switch will cut off fuel supply in the event you get in an accident. This switch has nothing to do with your fuel gauge. If this switch has cut off fuel supply, then you would have to go to find it and reset it in order to drive again. Scott

How do i reset my 1999 mustang fuel pump?

Reset your fuel pump? If you mean the inertia switch, all you have to do is push the button on the inertia switch to reset it. It is located in the lower left rear corner of the trunk.

Please note that if your fuel pump is not working, it is NOT the inertia switch unless you have been involved in an accident, or slammed something (like a curb or a HUGE pothole) pretty hard recently. If this is what happened, the engine would have died IMMEDIATELY after such an accident.

Inertia switch

There usually are several. The airbags have inertia switches near them. The fuel pump relay may also have an inertia switch near by, to cut out fuel in an accident. Fords are in the trunk, but I don't know where it is on GM.

Honda's have a fuel pump cutoff crash safety switch, u have it confused with Fords, they have what is called an "inertia switch" to cut off fuel flow after a crash, Honda's use key on engine off oil pressure switch to stop fuel flow, does the same as the Ford switch but a diff way.
