2004 Ford Explorer rear window washer does not squirk fluid. Pumps leaves fluid on ground behind left rear tire

The line is clear to the window as I pulled the tube from the connector inside the window. How do you get to the pump as the line between the pump and the dispersion point must be leaking.

You may need to pull the rear door panel to get to it, but the fluid line is leaking between the pump and the jet.

Enough back-pressure can blow the line loose, such as heavy dirt or ice on the jet nozzle.

I'd have to say that the small rubber hose that takes the fluid to the washer nozzel is broken or split somewhere along its length.

My 2004 Ford Expedition will not spray windshield wiper when the button is pushed. The wipers do turn on, but no spray. Would this be caused by a fuse (the wipers do turn on) or is the motor bad?

Can you hear the washer pump running when you operate the washer switch? The washer pump is in the bottom (side) of the washer fluid reservoir. You should hear it running. If not, you can disconnect the wire connector at the pump and use a test light to check to see if there is power and ground at the connector when you operate the switch. If there is power and ground, replace the washer pump motor. If there is no power or ground, you most likely have a bad washer control switch. (You have to replace the entire Multifunction Switch)

If you can hear the pump running, check for washer fluid pouring on the ground. If this is the case, you have a broken hose between the washer pump and the jets that spray on your windshield.

Also note that there is no way possible that your problem could be CAUSED by a fuse!

WHERE DO YOU PUT THE WASHING FLUID IN REAR WIPER?

Same place you put the fluid in for the front washer on the left hand side of the engine. Has a pump that pumps this fluid to the rear.

On the 2003 ford explorer is there a seperate tank for the rear window washer system

If you look on the side panels in the rear of the vehicle, you will find one comes off. behind that is where the fluid goes. I'm sorry I can't remember which side. hope this helps

No windshield fluid is coming out for my rear window. My front windshield works fine. What's wrong?

They usually have a separate tank at the back of the car, have a look at your car's owner's manual and see where that tank is located, fill it with water (if you are not living in a cold area) or windshield wiper fluid.

Rearend noise on 2004 Ford Explorer Sport trac

what type of noise?
have you checked the fluid?

if its a grinding noise while driving it could be choppy tires carrier bearings or axle bearings.

if its a whine while accelerating or decelerating than it is pinion angle.

if you can safly get both rear tires off of the ground than start it and put it in gear, try to locate the exact location "center chunk or out far in axle tubes" make sure vehicle is secure and safe befor climbing underneath.

Ford Explorer 2004 rear windshield not working

check two things - in the engine compartment on the left hand side - behind the air box - there is the feed hose for the rear washer - they come loose for no apparent reason. if this is not it check #15 breaker in the engine electrical panel
