Sounds like your compressor is drawing to much currant check to see that the clutch on the front of it spins free with engine off and see if there are any broken or frayed wires

You more than likely have a wire touching (grounding out). Look near your ac compressor. You may want to put up some more helpful info. I have a feeling you know more than you are telling us

Have a 1990 buick electra....the 20 amp fuse which controls the air conditioning & heat area keeps blowing immediately once replaced. Any ideas?

Sounds like the coil on the a/c compressor is no good, to test it you need to unplug the compressor and check it again, if it doesn't blow the fuse then it's the coil, if it does blow the fuse then it's the fan blower. Hope this helps

this fuse probably controls the ac clutch operation and/or the blower fan motor.. Disconnect the ac clutch at the connection next to the clutch pack behind the pulley. fit new fuse and if it blows then the problem will be in the fan motor control/ motor. If not then it will be the ac compressor clutch pack

Ac fuse keeps blowing

An OBD-II reader will give you the error fault code to direct you to the cause of the problem. Your owner's manual contains the fuse diagram and explains the circuits they control.
The check engine light alerts you to the fact that the on-board computer system is reporting a diagnostic trouble code; giving the vehicle owner or repair technician the status of the various vehicle sub-systems, when it is accessed.

Keeps blowing Air conditioning fuse

If you are installing the correct amp fuse (usually 20 Amp fuse) you could try putting a 30 amp fuse. If it doesn't blow, then you can leave it on. If it continues blowing it, then you must have a short circuit, take it to an automotive electrician.

Before you do anything else, please review this article:

Where's The Fuse?

Then I would say that the most likely cause of your problem is that the A/C clutch circuit is shorting out.

My air conditioning blows hot air. Won't accept

Is the system low on Freon? If not, you most likely have a bad A/C compressor, or a bad low pressure switch.

The air conditioning, the blower fan everything stopped working, on 2002 Nissan Sentra. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One suggestion. Have you checked the fuses ?

I would check the AC or blower fuse to start with. If you have the drivers manual it will show you where the fuse box is. Typically there are at least two boxes to check. One in the Engine compartment and one in the passenger cabin.

Look inside the lid of the fuse box to see which fuse may apply to the AC circuits or the blower and check to see if they are blow. the metal link between the two posts that plug in. If the link is missing you need to replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Make sure you know where you took the fuse out from and put it back in the same slot if its good. Check all the main fuses if possible to see if any have blown and replace if they have.
