Immobiliser will not turn off ,, local garage sed need a code tht came with car ?? any ideas helpfull

First call your local dealer. You may have to go with your vin and some ID before they help you. I doubt it in this situation. They should be able to tell you the code.

I lost my master key and have no spares, went to hyundia garage for new keys to be coded and the sed they cant get them programmed the car system wasnt responding, they wanted extra time on this

when a service dealer centre make statements like that I become suspicious especially when a new part is mentioned
the procedure is when new keys are involved they program the key and the immobiliser together as a unit and that is why they need both the key and the car for the job
ask around other dealers or people who can do this on your car and get quotes and second opinions

My Vauxhall Meriva wont start garage cant find problem done full service someone says it could be my key.

Yes it certainly could be an immobiliser problem, though not necessarily the key.
If the spare key doesn't work the problem will need diagnosing with diagnostic equipment and possibly recoding after any repairs or replacements.

If the garage where you took the car has a few decent mechanics they should have traced the fault back to a dead engine management ECU, which of course stays dead until the immobiliser is disarmed by using the correctly coded key.
No special equipment is needed to carry out sufficient checks to suspect an immobiliser problem and then report the fact to the owner.

If they haven't done at least that much it is possible they haven't been very competent at carrying out the checks for other non-start possibilities with the result I would have no confidence in them and a large question mark still hangs over the cause of the no start when it should be only a small question mark.

Immobiliser code

pop to your local garage and get your car scanned and then cleared. Road test and check again, it may be a system glitch.
If fault returns you may have to do some further investigation.
I was unaware that immobilisers could be disconnected as the whole point is that they are Anti Theft and an integral part of the can system.

It shouldn't matter if the key is the original or not it has been programmed to the car immobiliser, have you changed the batteries in the key, a low battery can cause the key and immobiliser not to communicate, did you take it to a ford garage, Main dealers are always the best to deal with especially when ECU and immobilisers are involved, there may even be a software update for your car that addresses this issue, may even need a new key but they are expensive, don't buy off eBay they won't work, hope this helps

The car will not start as it seems immobiliser is a problem

could be your crank sensor has failed.

usually it is behind or near the main crank pulley, not sure on your car's exact location.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to reset the ecu and see if it restarts.

Lost key

You cannot disable the immobiliser. If it were that easy, any car theif could defeat it by searching the internet. If you dont have any more master keys, you will have to have your local Toyota dealer reseed (reprogram) the immobiliser code, and program new keys for you. It should be about 2 hours labor and cost of keys, but only a dealer can do it. They need to use the Toyota scan tool, and access a Toyota only website with security codes.

Wont start

Had a similar problem with my x type 2.5 petrol, only had the car 1 day went to start it nothing happend all the lights came up on the dash but the engine wouldn't start and the immobiliser light stayed on. Spoke to Jaguar they had no idea and I couldn't get it to them. After disconnecting the battery trying to reset the immobiliser phoned and auto locksmith they came out and discovered the end of the key with the blade had lost it's coding and the immobiliser was not disarming, they reprogrammed the key and the car started no problem. As far as i know there is no way past the immobiliser. Hope this helps.
