That is a common problem. You usually fix the problem by replacing the parking sensor.
Before replacing the sensor you can try disconnecting the battery cable for two minutes. This will reset the control module connected to the sensor.
Remember to ensure that you have the car stereo anti theft code if needed.
The sensor is not an expensive part. It costs about £30 at the spare parts shops in UK.
