What engine size and is it a 4X4 and king cab? Have you checked the driver's door sticker? 225/70/15 is only 1 option.

Correct tire size for 1995 ford ranger super cab

These are all the tire size options that your vehicle could be equiped with from the factory

usually there is a sticker on the drivers door that will have the original tire size on it. If that sticker is missing you can allways try calling a Ford dealer and see if they can tell by running the VIN number thru there data base.

Im looking to put an engine in my 1988 ford ranger, i would like to know what kind and size of engine i can fit into a 2.9 v6 slot. i have already lifted it so its big and i sized up the tires.

With enough talent and enough money and enough time, pretty much anything is possible.

I know a fellow that put 5.0 in an older Ranger without any huge problems.

It'll be interesting! Have Fun!

I need to know the proper size tires for a 2004 ford explorer.

if you open up your drivers door there will be a sticker inside there that tells you proper tire sizes and proper inflation for front and rear tires

I have 235/60/16 tires on my Freestar. My question here is, can I put a smaller sized tire on this 16inch rim? If so, what size tire can I use? I am looking to save money. Thank you.

A smaller size tyre (tire) will affect the handling of you car, you might even find you insurance will not pay out if you or someone else has to make a claim against you.

Can you change from a 14" tire to another size without changing anything else on the vehicle? I have a 1999 Ford Ranger with 225/70R 14 tires which I have found are really hard to find. Can I just get 15"...

You would need to have all 4 the same size. Cant mismatch sizes 1 or 2, will through off abs etc. If you change all 4 it will affect your speedometer. If larger tires put on you will actually be going slower than speedometer says. If you can live with being off say 2 to 5 mph, all is well.

I purchased a 1988 Ford Ranger extended cab, the speedometer is off, the tires are 205/75 15's is this the correct size?

Is this a 4wd truck? The 4wd optional 15" tire is a 235-60-15, which means that with the tire size you listed, your speedometer will read 3.7% too low (at 60 mph indicated, you're actually going 62.3mph).

Brake drum

2004 ranger has 2 different size drums 9" and 10" (the difference is actually less than an inch). It sounds as if you've got the wrong drums.

I just bought a 95 ford ranger. I need new tires

Type ford ranger tyre size into your search engine you will find the origional size there. Otherwise if you are changing all four fit four the same size. Low profile gives you more power high profile gives more speed. If you do a lot of towing low are better.

Spare tire

Is the wheel the correct size? If so, then don't worry about it. It's just a spare. If it's completely wrong, then get the right one at a junkyard.
