Very good chance the exspansion plug (freeze plug) at the rear of the engine has rusted through. Not maintaining the correct antifeeze solution may have allowed rust or electrolisis to occurr.

If there is no "freeze" plug, which surprises me because they have to get the casting sand out somewhere, the liquid must be coming from somewhere.

Are you sure it is antifreeze and not transmission fluid, which is red in color?

Antifreeze may be leaking from a hose above the transmission and running down the joint and just looks like it is coming from between them. The heater hoses run into the firewall to the heater.

The water pump is also another leak source. When the engine is running, the wind can blow the coolant all over the engine compartment.

A way to find the leak would be to clean the engine and transmission areas, wait until dry and pressurize the cooling system.. dont go over about 13 psi. You may be able to rent a tool for doing this. This should identify the area.

If you cant get a tool, you can just run your engine to warm it up and build the pressure..Make sure your radiator is full, the radiator cap is tight and start the test from a cold engine.

Problem with 1999 Chrysler 300M My Chrysler 300m

If the engine doesn't turn over, it may be the solenoid not operating and not engaging the dog on the starter motor, if you get a healthy clunk when you turn the key but the engine does not turn, could be seized or there could be a transmission lock issue.

I have an 1999 chrysler 300m an it has an overheating problem. There is also water all over the driver side floor (front n back) it is soaked. It takes about 25mins b4 it starts smoking. Can som1 plz help...

Typically if your leaking coolant inside the car, it indicates your heater core is split and leaking. Replacing the heater core is quite the job. It requires removal of the dash board and heater box. i replaced one in a 97 Cirrus at work last week and it was a 6 hour job. If your not mechanically inclined i would definitley recomend phoneing around for quotes to local auto repair shops and getting it done profesionally.

Where can you find from the engine block the water jackets of my 300m. It suspect that these waterjackets are already coroded causing water leaks. Is it advisable to put solution on the water reservoir the...

the water jackets are part of the casting of the engine block they surround the cylinders water jackets dont corrode away they clog or if they are leaking u have a cracked engine block if u are getting antifreeze into oil and steam out of exhaust more than likely its a head gasket-- because if u crack a water jacket that usually means a blown engine and need to replace or rebuild ---and the additive usually works for radiator leaks and some minor head gasket leaks

1999 300m chrysler have emission control system leak

That is an evap system leak.

The evap system controls recirculation of fuel vapor in the engine intake manifold .
Check first the fuel cap, ensure that is well closed, then remove and inspect it.

Have a vacuum test done, or test for vacuum leaks using a Vacuum/Fuel Pump Tester Kit
If there is no leak, then the problem can be a storage canister or a defective purge solenoid.
