Please don't spend that much!! Holy ****! A own a Haynes Manual for my '96 Pathfinder and they show/tell you how to replace anything you could ever want to!! (Quite literally almost every part!)

You can buy a Haynes Manual directly from their site here:
http://www.haynes.com/products/productID/438

Or they carry them at most auto parts stores!

I presume you have a diesel motor, and are referring to the genuine Nissan manual which specifically covers the TD series diesel engines.
I have looked through this manual, and to replace the timing belt would be a neat trick, because there is a gear on the crankshaft, which drives a gear on the oil pump, which in turn drives the gear on the camshaft. So it is gear driven - no timing belt or chain.

I have to replace my water pump on a 1997 nissan terrano (pathfinder) 3.2 deisel turbo, does anyone have a diagram to help me before i start to pull it to pieces?

You really should have the repair manual to your Terrano(Pathfinder). I recently had to replace my water pump on my 89 Pathfinder, so I went on youtube and watched videos pertaining to the task and took their advise.
It is an easy job, however you should replace the timing belt and thermostat when you do the water pump, The tensioner should be replaced too. Their are certain orders and torch specs to loosen or tighten bolts so You really need the manual. Plus if yours is like mine if you dont get the timing on right then you risk messing up the motor. Hope this helped you out.

Recently changed timing belt on my 1999 nissan pathfinder but now it seems to have lost power and idles rough, The engine also sounds a little different( noisy), What did i do wrong?

Sounds like the timing has come out. Meaning that the timing has changed its position from what it should have been at. Most likely cause is that the timing belt was not tightened down enough to secure the timing belt. I would recommend not driving it, and re time your vehicle. The best thing to do is get a chiltons or haynes manual to make sure that you are doing the job correctly.

My nissan pathfinder is 220,000 km, im not sure if they change the timing belt, i went to mechanic and he told me i have to change my timing belt,do i have to change my timing belt now, it works fine now

Nissan suggests the timing belt be replaced every 103,000 miles. If the belt has never been changed I would say you're living on borrowed time. This is an interference engine so if the belt fails you could end up with a seriously damaged engine.

based on the mileage it is about time to change the timing belt. this should be done by a professional or someone with internal engine expertise. it is nothing like changing a fan belt.
