You mean the ICM (ignition control module), and don't forget to clean the MAF sensor.
Thank you for using fixya and keep me posted.

Random misfire with code PO300 07 Nissan titan. Put new spark plugs in and a fuel pump still hase vary bad miss

P0300 is random misfire code P0301 would be cyl # 1 etc.
With the odb2 scanner at erase codes turn the engine off. With the key in the run position erase the codes. Run the diagnostics again. If you still have P0300 code Check the plug wires. Loss of compression will cause misfire but it would not be random.

Hey I'm mike. Here want going on my s10 blazer

to start with the in front of the cat is different to the one after the cat and will produce different signals for the ecm and that will throw up fault codes

Code p0154 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 2--no activity detected--===causes --Wiring--HO2S-- ECM

replace with correct sensor (heated sensor )

code p0300 refers to random/ multiple misfires detected---===causes---spark plugs--HT leads --injectors---ignition coil/s---low compression---wiring

The HT lead should be replaced as by pulling it off the plug the internal resistance has been damaged. Check the injectors are firing correctly as my guess is that the injector is faulty and that is what set you to change the HO2S sensor

2001 grand Cherokee. Code P0300

po300 is a random misfire, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why. If it was a po302 this means its #2 cylinder thats misfiring,ETC, But po300 could be any one of the cylinders. check plugs, wires, fuel injectors, Etc. Good-Day!

Replaced:plugs,wiresdistributor,fuel pump.truck wouldn't start before but now it starts but i am getting po135,po141,po147.po300 codes

P0135 means 0xygen heater circuit malfunction, P0141 mean 02 heater circuit bank1 sensor 2 (this is catalytic monitor) P0147 means 02 heater sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 3, P0300 is random misfire. You will get all the 02 code because of the misfire correct the misfire and the 02 should correct.We will start with the plug wire and make sure the firing order is correct 1996 chevy blazer that will make it a 4.3 engine size check the firing order firing order is 165432 also check the coil (it has a tendency to short you will know if it is) cansmo_181.gifcansmo_182.gifmake sure the distributor rotation is check

Random misfire on all cyliner a po300 code pops up in the scanner...

It sounds like the coil is breaking down or the cam sensor may be at fault for the misfiring. Use an inline tester and connect from the coil tower to the spark plug wire to check for a good steady fire. Do this on all coil wires to spark plugs. The best time to do this is at night so you can see it fire. You may want to remove the spark plugs and inspect them for a fouling condition. If all is well then look at the cam sensor for the problem. Hope this will help you.

P0300 is a random misfire code, if you are not mechanically inclined the first thing i would do if you havent done so in the past year or more, is change the plugs and wires, a random misfire code can be caused by worn plugs and/or wires not firing properly. let me know if that fixes it.
