i already took it to a mechanic from pep boys and a code shows up and this are some of the things that were the possible touble and he told us to start with the less expensive route.

Who's we. Is this a guessing game where you throw parts at it? If you don't know the vehicles systems and how they work and have no manuals ,take it to a professional shop

I understand. Just know that codes alone do not tell you what is wrong or what to replace. Their just sensors that the computer sees as out of range, not necessarily bad.

The less expensive route will not end up, so.

You need to perform a test on parts in different systems,ie, Air,Ignition,Fuel,Evap,Etc Unless you know how a part functions and how to test it,you won't know if it needs to be replaced. Also, several things make up a system. Then they all tie together with several processors, which again have a stratagy to follow. Knowledge and Theory are your best friend here.

A practical alternative to replacing parts at random would be to take your vehicle in for a comprehensive diagnosis to identify the real cause of the problem(s).

84 Corvette crossfire engine stalls out when running and trouble restating after stalling out...fuel pump replaced five times along with fuel filter and fuel pump sitting since 2008 and...

Yea , those crossfire injection vettes can be a bear sometimes . I had dealings with them 84-85 - 86 working as a tech at a chevy dealer . Don't remember much about them , haven't heard anything about them for long time .

How's the fuel pressure ? Have you put a fuel gauge on it ? I would imagine you don't have a Tech 1 scan tool ? What's the map sensor voltage at idle ?

Location and difficulty of replacing crank sensor on 92 park avenue? auto stalls out, farts, back fires? replaced water pump hose connecter that screws into block from top of water pump outlet? took out...

This could be one of many issues (or more than one!). When you say runs for 5 minutes, does it just stall? overheats? Probably not the crank sensor since when they go they go and engine will not run. If you can get it to Autozone or borow a diagnostic tool may be able to find an avenue to persue. My first thought is fuel from what you describe, fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors.

1992 pontiac boneville, keeps stalling

Have you chg.fuel filter and had a fuel pressure test done? Does it have spark after it stalls? Fuel pumps are a common problem, they work when cold get warmed up they quit, after a while quit all together. Do the fuel pressure test.

Changed transmission and ever since then it keeps stalling once warmed up

More than likely something was disturbed accidentally,a connector to a sensor,a sensor itself, possibly even a vacuum line, although a vacuum leak will usually result in a high idle, but an engine that wants to stall,so visually check all these items. At this point,i would do the visual checks, and also scan the vehicle for any possible trouble codes,as a trouble code will point in the direction of the problem.Places like Auto Zone will pull the codes for free.
