Question about 2006 Dodge Ram 1500

1 Answer

I have a 2006 dodge mega cab 1500 over the past few days when i go around a turn at speeds up to 10 mph's you can hear a squeak coming from the front end and the steering wheel has a jerking feeling in it when it is coming back to center. I checked the power steering fluid and its fine and didn't see anything wrong by the wheel or by the pump

The belt is tight and the squeaking noise isn't like a belt squeal could i put belt dressing on it to see if it goes away to eliminate that part?

Since your truck is only 4 or 5 years old I wouldn't think anything needs replacing so I would check to make sure the belt is tight and in good condition.

You have to make somebody to check the struts, or shocks, and also the axles, this situation is very dangerous because if the problem are the terminals or the axles, they can be broke while driving and you will lost control of the steering wheel... completely. I mean, no steering wheel working, on a car running...
