Question about 1996 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Have you checked the hazards? Check it ou and if they are not working. Try cycling them on and off 12times. This is to try to clean the contacts.
It hazard switch has bridging contacts. So if you are not using the hazards, the other contacts are closed so you can operate the turn signal and brakes. What have you done so far? GM is known for faulty circuit boards inside the tail-lights and overheated sockets (that the bulbs snap into). take your time, check for blown fuses, broken or corroded wires, and the little things too, like the bulbs. Good luck.
