I have done this a ton a two post lift is a definite helper in this situation as you will most likely have to pull it from the bottom unless you disassemble most of engine to pull from top anyways if you pull from the bottom it is easier to keep engine and trans together remove exhaust and unplug everything that attaches to car remove drive shafts be careful when removing them dont beat on the threaded end you wont be able to get nut back on. support engine and trans and remove driverside mount that goes to trans it is located around or under the battery tray and then remove the passenger side mount you will need to unbolt the three bolts that bolt it to the car and the one big nut that holds to engine. then drop out or set on ground and lift car. remember radiator hoses, intake, fuel lines, battery, starter cables, etc. need to be removed pretty easy once it pretty much done hope this helps you can email me direct Russ899@msn.com for help I also take it that this is a SOHC engine?

How to reset engine lite in dash

Check engine light comes on and off, these are indication that there is some error code stored in your vehicles ECM. The engine module computer needs to be scanned. These will give the code and as per the error code the further problem can be detected and confirmed. The engine light indicator blinks or remains steady on dash when engine computer noticed any problem with any engine electrically operated components.

For more help, I suggest you to refer the help links provided below. These will let you know more about which areas to look, check, when there is engine light coming up on dash panel.
