on my old 1996 blazer.. the little wire coming from the battery +
positive terminal goes to the ABS.
...this needs to be attached properly.
with some snowPlow setups. its a good idea to disconnect the ABS...so the truck will Stop.
....proper bleeding of the ABS brake circuit may be needed.

CRUISE CONTROL WON'T WORK ON 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER

check cruise control fuse and check the brake lights see if brake light working because the brake light switch will deactivate cruise control when brakes is applied.if brake lights dont work either fuse blowed or switch bad.if all is good have vechicle code scan because cruise control control by PCM and vechicle speed sensor and thottle actuator control motor.

I hear a squeak or scrubing noise coming from the right front on my 2004 nissan maxima. i have change the rotor, struts and brakes

it is very common that when the brakes are repaired the dust shield gets bent, Jack the car up and support it remove the wheel and spin the rotor and listen for the grinding noise. this will take a few rotations. Also since some times it is a revolution related noise, you may want ot inspect around the dust shield and visually confirm that it is not contacting the rotor.

How do i adjust the rear parking brake on a 2004 chevy silverado 2500 hd 4x4

on the 04 chevy silverado theirs cable equilizers that stable your cables of your parking brakes check to see if those arent loose or damaged in anyway if so replace if not remove the rear wheels and use a brake spoon to spin the adjuster nut on the o4 chevy their is not slots in the sides of the brake drum or the dust shield so it is a hastle trying to find if your on the adjuster or not but once you tinker with it for a while you will get the hang of it

I have a 2004 Chevy 4x4, regular cab, Z71

Check the dust shield on the brake rotor's. There known to warp due to the heat of the brakes and will rub against the brake rotors or rim it self. Good luck and hope this helps, the other thing to that would create the squeak is low brake pads indicators rubbing against the rotors and it's time for new brake pads.

2005 Trailblazer with no brake lights

That sensor or switch should be at the very top of the brake pedal. You might have to remove some shielding but once that is done you should be able to see the switch. It might be a little tough to reach but with a little patience it shouldnt be to hard of a fix.

Tchirp sound on my wheels on Audi A4

It sound like you have touch all the base, so your going to need to check the dust shield on the back side of the rotor. Make sure that it has not gotten bent forward towards the rotor and wheel rim area of travel. It's a common thing to happen as the brakes heat up the dust shied warps slightly and if there is not enough gap between the dust shield and rotor, and rim will make the chirping noise you hear. You may not even have top remove the wheel to fix this, just turn your wheel all the way to one side so you can get to the back side of the brake assembly and push the dust shield away from the rotor/wheel area. Good luck and hope this helps. keep me posted. be glad to help you get rid of that Gremlin.
