I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima car ran fine till battery was disconnected for several weeks after reconnecting battery car fails to stay started wont idle also clock dosnt work now

I suspect you will need to take the car to Nissan service to reset the ECU. Tell them the problem and let them advise you what they will need to do.

If its digital, there may be a loose wire on the back side of the panel. If not digital, check where it goes into the transmission as it may be loose, or stripped. If stripped, it will work at slow speeds, but spins against the gears while at hire speeds. Also check the backside on the cluster.

Have a 95 olds lasaber starts but doesnt stay running

Well put some gas in it man! No, seriously, a vehicle runs on the physics of three principles. Fuel, air and ignition or "explosion" of gases. You have eliminated two of these principles since the engine "starts" but will not stay running. Most likely because of it lacking "fuel" or the pressure thereof. Only two things to check. Fuel pump, and filter.

Transmission dosnt shift when truck warms up

I have a 1995 GMC 1500 with 5.7 truck that the ABS Light comes on and then the tranny starts jumping gears and speedo goes crazy- Changed ignition switch and that did not help.
You said that you had changed the speed sensor on the tranny and that did not help ?? If so that was my next step. Let me know if you find and answer and I will do likewise.

When you step on the gas the 99 durango doesnt move

i would check the fluid in the transmission and the drive axles and to also make sure you do not have the parking brakes on and you do not have a calipers hanging up on one of the wheels

Bad starting

what do you mean "bad starting"

starter dosnt engage?(starter engauges but dosnt catch flexplate or flywheel, maybe dosnt engauge at all)
barely turns over? (like theres no battery causing hard crank)

you can test your battery by starting the car with the headlights on, if the headlights go dim the battery is bad. your battery could be out of date or the alternator could be bad and not charging the battery.

Car wont start

Your ignition switch contacts are either loose from wear or burned from heat, replace the switch, this is not the key cylinder but the electrical switch that the key switches on.
