Well...assuming you can still hear the door lock operation then it appears you have an actuator concern, that's the good news

the bad news is that you will have to destroy the interior trim to gain access inside the door to 1.) open and 2.) replace the actuator

This is likely a worn latch assembly. The only 2 ways I have found, is to have someone on the inside pushing while you pull sharply on the outside handle or pull sharply on the inside handle while going at it with your shoulder like a linebacker. Eventually it will open and then you remove the door panel and first see if any plastic clips are broken or any rods not connected. If all is still whole, replace the latch assembly. The mechanism wears out internally and eventually acts this way. Not uncommon. Let me know if you need anything else.

Door is loked on rear driver side want open

Won't open from outside? Won't open from inside? Equipped with power door locks? IF so, and won't open inside/outside, suspect stuck power door lock actuator. Sometimes working the lock/unlock button will make the door unlock. If not, the door will require disassembly from inside to determine what the failure may be. If the door needs disassembly while in the closed position, the paneling/clips may get damaged FYI

Drivers side sliding door won't close

check mechanism on working doors. In my car if I move the catch on the door(click it like in closed position)like it was closed, then when I open the handle it releases open;this shows me closing/opening. Spray penetrating fluid on the metal/mechanism,possibly rusty and prevents smooth actions. Hope this helps.

The driver side door on my 2002 chevy blazer wont close.how do i fix it?

Door pins are a common failure on that series of Blazer/S10's. Also, another point of contention that the door faces is a sticky latch. Basically, the door latch re-latches itself and when you shut the door into the catch, it slams into it and bounces off. An easy fix is a 3 part cocktail of brake parts cleaner. Open and shut the latch with a screw driver acting as the catch and your interior door handle a few times. P'Blaster, open and shut the door a few times with the screwdriver acting as the catch. Finally, a good shot of white lithium grease. Open and shut the door with a screwdriver as the catch several times. Once you feel it is un-stuck, actually close and open the door several times. If you notice the door rising every time it catches, you MUST replace the door pins (cheap fix). If the door still has issues, replace the door latch (and since you're in there, do some PM and replace the actuator as well).

I have a 2005 yukon. The rear door window will not unlock and open nor will the door. I have tried the keyless entry as well as the unlock feature on the door panel of the drivers side. So I can not get...

{: ) Check the ECC fuse10amps at the IP fuseblock. If okay, it's most likely that you will need to replace your liftgate latch. The latch is inside the rear door trim, but since the rear door is stuck closed, it must be opened manually. I suggest you leave that part to the door masters, they know exactly the right technique. If you do it yourself, theres a chance you can break something.

Cannot open passenger side front door, it seems to be stuck in the closed position. Yes the inside and out-side handles do pull but will not open the door and yes the window will power up and down. ...

The first thing I suggest is call a locksmith or AAA if you have it. tell them whats going on, not a lock issue, Ask if they can get the door open. I doubt it , but you never know. Anyway, the latch is dead, as you know, The problem is you will have to remove the seat to get the door panel off to replace or fix the latch mechanism. If your up to it let me know and I can help you threw it.

check the closing mechanism and see if it isnt locked down in the closed position, if it is stick your finger in there and pull it out like it would open while moving the door handle, if thats not the problem, see if there isnt a toy or something stuck in the tracks on the bottom or dirt and leaves on the top

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan side door does not automatically close.

sounds like the door sensor switch is malfunctioning and when almost closed it reacts like it is blocked (such and kid in way) and opens for safety. try flushing trach with hose and try again, if not u need a good repair manual such as chiltons($25 most parts stores ) or see mechanic
