Am trying to remove the rear seat on my 2003 Toyota Solara convertable in order to replace the center rear speaker which is in the direct center and behind the seat. Seems that the lower part of seat will just pop out.

Yes the lower part should just pop out ,but the back cushion has to be fixed in case of an accident so somewhere it will have some securing bolts ,which can vary with the age of the vehicle ,some models have them at the top on either side with a bracket accessable from the rear of the vehicle and bottom of the seat has a slot either side that the seat pushes into ,but some models have star shaped screws coming in the front into the car bodywork so teh corners of the seat cushions have to be pulled back slightly to see the screws

Pull up on the bottom of the rear seat, look under with a good flashlight, u will see that on each side there is a thick wire clipped into the floor board, this retainer "springs out", to release it use the palm of your hand and strike the bottom of the seat on the outside in front of the spring retainer while pulling upward on the seat, it is not easy, u must be pretty strong to do this on the 1st try, u can hurt your hand if u are not careful.

sometimes if u just pull hard up on the sides of the seat while pushing the seat cushion backwards it will release, try that 1st, it is easier if it does than hitting it.

My 2006 Toyota Solara convertible radio volume goes in and out, what can I do

Sit in back seat passenger side. Remove panel which is on top which is below rear window, same panel where seat belt goes into panel at top. You will need to remove #2 Phillips screws which hold panel in place. Screws are hiding behind seat belt front cover where belt goes down in panel, under cup holder which allows arm rest cover to lift off and one more right on left side of head rest in corner. Remove panel. You will see switch which is in vertical position. If for any reason you want to by-pass switch, just unplug switch. Radio will still work in standard mode. The amp sound will not increase in performance when top is down and sound will not be as sharp.

I ran low on gas in my 2004 toyota solara after filling it up i noticed that it lost power and would'nt go over 45 miles per hour....what do you think the proplem could be?

There are always deposits inside the fuel tank. Usually, driving around with more than 1/4 tank slshes them around enough to keep them out of the fuel pump screen. But, when you run low on gas, the sediment gets sucked to the screen, and blocks your fuel flow. If the solara is built like most toyota cars, there will be an overhead access to the tank. This is located under the rear seat bottom. Remove the rear seat bottom by pulling up on the back of it first. then tilt the rear toward you and push the front of the seat about 1/4 inch backwards. This will disengage the front clips of the seat. there will be a little circular cover with 10 or 12 bolts under there. remove the bolts and lift the cover. Pull the assembly out. You have the fuel level and pump assembly in your hands. At the bottom is a little motor and a fine mesh screen. When clean, this screen is white. When dirty, its usually a brown-orange color. You can get this screen from autozone or advance.

The retractor is probably jammed or broken, try tapping it with a hammer, if that doesn't work, replace the retractor.

2002 Toyota Solara Convertible seat belts not retracting

The front seatblet retractor springs have weakened. Unfortunatly, there are no "user serviceable parts" on them. They would have to be replaced. How many miles is on it? If you have low mileage, the Toyota Customer Experience Center may provide you some assistance, as the belt replacements are quite expensive. I'd call the CEC and explain your dilemma.
