You have to remove the dustcover in the center of the drum and take the nut off then slide the rear drum off

If there is a hub cap take the tire bar from your truck and there should be a flat end on it or use a Flathead screw driver and pop/pry it of then use the supplied bar to unbolt the lug nuts or a 4 way + looking tool that you can get almost any autoparts stores. after your have the bolts just a little loose not all the way off use either supplied jack or a jack that is adequate to lift a car and make sure when you have car lifted to put a jack stand or safety stand under the lifted part of car finish removing lug nuts and remove wheel. hope this helps and be careful good luck

I have 2002 mazda b2500 4x2 pickup every now and then i can smell the clutch burning out and it feels like my brakes are holding me back slightly. Was wondering if this is common and is it more likely that...

It could be either one. Best way to find out is to lift the vehicle and turn the tires and see which one is dragging. It could be the hand brake cable, if both back tires seem to drag. It could be brake hoses. best way to check is find the tire/ tires dragging and release the pressure at the bleed valve. if it releases the brake then I recommend you replace all the brake hoses. if it doesn't release then replace the caliper. If you haven't done a brake job on this vehicle, maybe now is a good time

Hello on my pontiac grand prix i want to changwe my brake pads but i dnt know if i have to be careful with the tire control system

Nope, the traction control system will not be an issue, just do not damage or strain any wiring, same as you would not damage or stress the brake lines.

1994 gmc back left tire break leak

Most likely rellted to the rear wheel cylinder. You need to remove the tire, probably replace the brake shoes if they are wet with fluid, wipe down brake drum with carb or brake cleaner, install new wheel cylinder and put everything else back together. Wheel cylinder is available through most auto parts outlets. Probaby less than $15.

Rear anti lock brake light & brake light on in 1991 ford 350e m/h

If the brake light and alb lights are on u need to get it checked out, as this is a warning of a brake problem, and u could find yourself w/out brakes.
1st check the easy things, is tire pressure what it should be in the rear tires? Low pressure on one side would result in the tire running hotter than the other properly inflated side. Is the emergency brake completely off? If on even slightly, it can turn on the brake light. Is brake fluid at the proper level? If low, the brake light will go on. If it's low, u must check for leaks to see why it's low. The abs light on indicates a problem w/ the system, it could be as simple as a broken wire at the rear wheels. u may also have a brake dragging on the rear pass. side, causing the brakes to overheat, which could result in heat transfer to the wheel, and then the tire. This can be checked by jacking up the vehicle (~if u have a sturdy enough jack), and with front wheels blocked front and back, in neutral, engine off, turn wheels in back, see if resistance to turning is the same, or if brakes are dragging, u should be able to tell. Let me know how u make out.

Press the brake then my rear tires brakes keep locking

it just happenned to me with my ford f-150 1997, turned out to be the rubber hose that was clogged so it couldn't relieve the pressure in the lines....

it should be located on top on the differential if you don't have disc brakes on the back.... but if it is disc brakes you should have a rubber hose on each side....
