Question about 2004 Hyundai Tiburon
I need to know how to program the keyless remote for a huyndai tiburon 2004 GT
If you have the original remote, you can do it yourself. My remote was working without a problem until the other day when all of a sudden it didn't work out of nowhere. I thought it was the battery (might have been and needed to be reprogrammed after replacing it) so I changed it. Still didn't work. So I did a search and found the following instructions: Click Here
The answer is remarkably simple:
1. Get in the car and close the door.
2. Turn the key to the ACC position
3. Push the unlock button on the remote until the blinkers flash once.
4. Get out of the car and test the remote. It should be working fine. ( I actually was able to test it while in the car)
P.S. I would change the battery first.

If you have the original remote, the above instructions will work. However, my original remote broke, and my dealer quoted $110 for a programed replacement. Hoping for a better overall price, I purchased a replacement for $50 on an e-bay store which advertised, "Programming instructions free for 'Most' models". As it turns out, there are NO programming instructions for a 2004 Tiburon available, and only a dealer has the ability to program a remote for this year & model. I had to make a seperate appointment & trip to my dealer who charged $30 for programing (but call around = a different Hyundai dealer in the area quoted $50 for programming). In the end, I don't feel this solution was that much of a savings, and turned out to be alot of extra hassel and time wasted in trying to reach the key fob e-bay seller for technical support (which was non-existant) and searching the web for any other possible programming information for this model and year, which also was not available.
*My advice if a new keyless remote fob is needed would be to search for programming instructions on the web 1st, as programming instructions for many makes & models are available. But if not for your Hyundai, call a couple Hyundai dealers for quotes for a replacement fob programed, and also for separate programing costs to see what is really the best cost & time effective option for you: buying a fob online and taking it to the dealer for programming, OR easy, no-hassel one-stop shopping getting the programmed fob at the dealer to begin with.

Tips for a great answer:

Nov 30, 2013 | Oldsmobile Alero Cars & Trucks
Well, you basically have only 3 choices:
1. Pay the fee at the dealership
2. Purchase the high-dollar equipment that is required to perform the programming procedure
3. Forget about adding another key fob to tor vehicle.
