It may have a lock code. if so, be sure that you have the code handy before doing that.
the lock code usually is gave to you in an sticker and is placed in the owners manual in the back or front.
if you disconnect the battery, you will be required for that code as well.
if you have disconnected the battery before and you had not being request a code, then ,you are fine, you dont need a code.
