2007 suzuki forenza i replaced the battery now the computer wont read for a emisssion test, how long should i drive to reset

a great question and is stated at each STATE smog web page.
1--you drive the car with scan tool attached until all monitors
re complete.
or if no $7 scan tool yes, they are dirt cheap now.
then
2 --driive for 1 hour, varying speed from 0 to 55 mph.
and coasting to stop signs too
the EVAP system will never clear , unless fuel tank is below full.
the EVAP alone can take 30minutes to clear .

all this and more is in the shop manual FSM.
and at alldata dot com.

Some states allow one monitor to be incomplete.
usually for EVAP. (the pain)

I have a 2007 suzuki forenza that has atransmission problem can only drive in 3rd gear. On the dash has a D in a box with a slash trhu it. What is the problem

My wifes car is doing the same thing. Had the code pulled from the OBD II port and it gave me two codes: PO700, and PO705. Both codes pertain to a TRS (Transmission Range Sensor). Suzuki has an 84 month/ 100,000 mile powertrain waranty. Take it to the dealer and talk to them about the situation. The thing about Suzuki is that their transaxles (transmissions) are none-serviceable

Groaning Noise While AC is on

this sounds like the AC compressor is failing, the engine idles slower in drive so noise is more apparent. you are likely going to need to replace it soon.

TRANSMISSION PULLS VERY VERY SLOW IN DRIVE AND ONLY WHEN I ACCELERATE HEAVILY. REVERSE WORKS FINE.

is this car still under warranty? if so take it back to the dealer and don't accept it as repaired till you drive it. sounds like the logic that controls the transmission is flipping out, sometimes they will tell you that it needs a reflash. what this amounts to is that the manufacturer put some not so great programming in the logic when they built the car but now they have a patch or fix that makes it work better but you have to pay them for their time to install the fix. ask them what they will charge you for the privilege and decide if it's worth it to you. there is a recorded technical service bulletin about harsh shifts for your car. well, actually there are two, the latest one a revision of the first. i would try to make this their problem, it really is. hope this helps.
