Most likely its the door lock actuator, they use a plastic gear that is turned by a small motor, that gear is probably starting to strip out.

Back door on the kia sorento 2011 passenger's side will not open, need help fast...??

Is it locked? The lock stuck in the locked position? Or is it something else. You might need to take off the door panel to disengage the lock. More info needed.

The back driver's side door buzzes when I lock and unlock it

The actuator is held in place by 3(?) or 4(?) screws on the latch side of the door. Make sure window is all the way UP! First, remove the door upholstery and the splash liner. Next, disconnect the two metal linkages running from the lock/latch assembly. You may now remove the screws holding the actuator in place. Remove electrical plugs. Transfer the linkages, plug in the electrical connector, slide the assembly back into the door, replace the screws, etc. After an hour or 2 you should have a repaired lock assembly and no more buzzing. Expect to pay around $65 including shipping for the new actuator. Good luck...

My rear door makes a buzzing noise when i lock the doors... I have a 2004 kia spectra....

This noise could be cause from the door lock actuator. If this is the Problem it will need replacement. But in most cases if the actuator is faulty the locks will jump, and not always lock on that door.

Buzzing in door every time door is opened. I just want to disconnect but no one can find the fuze .took it to kia for them to try will cost $300 to have repaired for now i just want to disconnect and stop...

I have an 04 Sorento and what I did was unscrew the switch in the door jamb (the one that is compressed when the door is shut) which is held on by one screw. Next disconnect the plug from the back of the switch. Voila. No more annoying buzzing when listening to the radio with the door open. Also, since the car thinks the door is shut, when you park and remove the key and forget to roll up the windows, you will have about 30 seconds to adjust / open / close any and all windows. That is, as long as no one else has opened their door. ***Caution: ALWAYS CARRY A SPARE KEY WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES SINCE IT IS EASY TO LOCK KEYS IN THE CAR. NORMALLY DOORS WILL NOT LOCK WITH KEYS IN THE IGNITION, BUT THEY WILL AFTER YOU MAKE THIS MODIFICATION. Definately worth it. Get a hide a key or hide extra key in the running board. Then you will only need a phillips screwdriver to get to it.

LOUD BUZZING SOUND FROM MY REAR DOORS WHEN LOCKING ANY SUGGESTIONS? 2005 KIA SORENTO

the lock or mechanisim is stiff, get some wd40 and spray all around the lock and around the mechanism dont be shy with it.

If the problem persists then the motor for the central locking is about to go, this will need to be replaced as they rarely are fixable.

Hope this helps
