1996 Ford Taurus GL Sedan Car will not move while running in drive, 2, 1, or reverse. Transmission fluid is at correct level and looks new. No grit or bubbles on stick, fluid is normal red color....

Does the fluid read overfull on the stick now? You might have stripped the splines in the converter for the pump shaft. This is common problem on this model. Also the Forward clutch piston are known for cracking.

2001 Ford Taurus, wont go in reverse, trans fluid is dry. No leak, just dry.

When you say dry, do you mean there is no transmission fluid showing on the dipstick? If that is the case you have probably burned the reverse out and the forwards will go out very soon. It is a total distaster to run without fluid.

1999 ford taurus automatic wont go into any gear -engine is fine

Just a couple of things to check if you haven't compare the smell and apearance of the tranmission oil to so new, if it looks dark and smell burned you probably have a bad transmision, clutches or burned up. Does it whine or make any noise? a stopped up filter will do this. also is it full when warm on the dip tick runniing in park?
