Question about 1997 Saturn SL
Try replacing the battery in the transmitter. if that does not work take your remote completely apart and gently clean all the switch and battery contacts with a clean pencil eraser. if that does not work take the remote to a GM dealer and ask them to check it for you. they have a little pad shaped device which checks for a signal. if the transmitter is dead buy another on ebay and take it to a dealer and have them set it to match the car for you.
