Question about 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Could be a bad fuel pump...when you first turn on the key in the mornings in a quiet setting you should be able to hear a humming noise coming from your fuel tank it might only last 4 to 5 seconds this is the prime for the fuel rail going to injectors..if you dont hear this, i would take it to a shop to confirm. usually on most cars there is a dedicated fuel prime wire that you can hook up twelve volts to confirm that the pump is working, if the pump is working then it will be a lot easier fix.. because it might only be a fuse or relay that is causing the problem.
