Volvo s80 t6 after putting my serpintine belt back on when i started the car a good size of the belt ripped of and wrapped around my harmonic balncer to the timming belt and shut my car right down

Did the piece of serpentine belt actually make contact with the timing belt ? The timing belt should have been behind the timing cover.
And does the engine crank normally ? Normal compression ?

Honda accord service b14

Major caveat to joserivera34's answer: For "B4" it depends on if the car has a belt or chain. The Accord V4 has a chain and therefore there is no timing belt replacement. The V6 has a belt.

My front crank seal is leaking can it harm my timing belt

Dear Calvin,

Just Have Your Front Crank Seal Replaced. The Water Pump Does not Need To Be Replaced At This Time. Try Taking It To Two More Mechanics. See what They Say. And Decide On A Fix.

Hope This Helps,

Alex :o)

IF BELT WAS REPLACED RIGHT THERE IS NO NEED TO ADJUST TIMING, MAYBE YOUR BELT IS ONE TOOTH OFF, BE CAREFUL THIS ALSO CHANGES VALVE TIMING, YOU CAN BLOW ENGINE!!!

My ac belt ripped straight across like a violent rip. The tensioner was not smooth but noisey when i turned it by hand but it did turn. I am replacing belt and tensioner and would like to know if there is...

Hello: If the tension is noisy the its possible that it locked up and that broke the belt. Do not replace the belt unless you replace the tensioner. Are any of the other pulleys noisy when you turn them by hand? IE; alternator, water pump??

You didn't tell us in which currency that '2780' was quoted but if US $, that seems unreasonable to me.
Timing belts can cost >$100 but not often and vary in degrees of difficulty to replace; on one of our cars (87 X1/9) it's about a 30 minute job. A Subaru Outback is more like a couple of hours so yours is likely in that range somewhere.
Valve cover and transmission gaskets aren't normally that tough to replace and cost little; check one of the chain auto parts sites to verify that. It only takes a few minutes to run up the potential parts cost and the labor should run well under a $1000 total.
Now you have a second opinion but, get a 3rd one in person.

How do you replace the water pump on a 2002 mazda 626 4cyl? does it interact with the timing belt?

hi from uk the 626 water pump is not driven by timing belt but by another drive belt so easy to change after removal of under wing cover to access /see pump b4 you remove drive belt would advise you to slacken off the water pump pully 1st while it is held by drive belt to prevent turning ? then with belt off /pully removed pump is more accessable hope this helps?

Engine starts after about 20 seconds

my 215000mile Audi a4 starts immediately every time. Very likely to be timing related, especially if it was okay before the belt change. Hard starting for slightly mistimed engines is a known problem.
