Replace the clockspring in the steering wheel which is very expensive, if you dont want the horn to work at all unplug it at the horn itself located by the front bumper

Hi my horn has stopped working on my 2009 murano, the fuse is fine where do I start to look next?

Usually it's the button or wire in the steering wheel but can also be the relay or the horn itself. What I do is pull out the horn relay and interrogate the relay socket with a volt/ohmmeter. There should be two hot terminals in the socket. One of the remaining terminals goes to the horn and should show a few ohms to ground. The last terminal goes to the steering wheel and should show zero ohms to ground when the button is pressed. If you don't get these readings, the one that isn't right is the source of the problem.

1999 Pontiac grand am horn goes off by itself and locks are locking and unlocking by themselves

Something going on with bcm. Note the diagram for the horn, one of the ground wires for control side of horn relay, goes to bcm. Probably part of security system. The other ground wire goes to horn button.
The bcm also has control over door locks. I can't diagnose your bcm from here.

Horn do not work what is the problem in honda civic ex 2000

if the fuse and relay is fine then check the horn itself. with someone pushing on the horn button check for power at the wire on the horn you should have power if not it could be a broken wire from the horn back to the relay. also check to make sure the horn has a good ground. if you do have power chances are the horn itself needs replacing. sometimes the horn pad goes bad, but that rarely happens.

2002 impala horn goes off by itself

Highly suspicious the problem is in your horn button.
And that might be on your steering wheel.
And that is where your Air Bag is. And that might mean you have air bag/horn button problems !!!!
Check with some good junk yards or body shops and see if you can find out how to change the horn button/air bag.
I just learned how 2 weeks ago, and it was really easy.
In my town, good used airbag/horn buttons go for $ 25.
Be blessed.

1998 chevy cavalier horn goes off by itself

If your horn goes off by itself and won't stop there is a fuse on the driver side panel by the wheel, open it up,and looked at the back side of the panel and take out the one marked cig. It will stop it from happening the horn is connected to the cig lighter.

If you punch the steering wheel horn pad and it goes off, it leads me to believe that it is the horn pad or a short in the wiring going to the horn pad. You may be jarring the wheel enough to stop the short. Next time it happens press firmly without jarring on the horn pad and see what happens. If it stops it could be the button pad. These can be tough to find. Good luck!

Horn not working ! it worked once then stopped any

start at the horn to see if it the wire is connected, then i would remove that wire and use a jumper wire from a positive(battery) to the horn itself and see if you get any sound. If the horn beeps then the horn itself is not the issue. check your horn fuse and relay. if you are getting power at the fuse and relay it is somewhere in the steering column. possible the horn pad itself or the horn cam. If you have have this in for repairs in the past dealing with the steering column it might not have been hooked back up properly. but then again how often do you use your horn it might have been not working for quite awhile. hope this helps.

Battery

I've had this exact problem before when being jumped off. The fob DOES NOT make it stop. We removed the fuse that goes to the horn. As soon as your battery gets recharged from the alternator, the fob will work again and the alarm will quit sounding. The only pain about removing the fuse is that the cruise control will not work until you put it back.
