Put a jack under the back of the frame and remove the rear frame bolts. Lower the jack enough to remove the mount. Don't go down to much as the steering linkage could come apart. This would be another problem you don't need.
The best way is to get a class 3 or 4 hitch mounted to the motor home and use a drive on flatbed trailer wired to the braking system of the motor home.
check suspension joints and balls . Check for worn loose shockie mounts/rubbers check for upper strut mounts and rubbers . Check for stabiliser rubbers and links, check for loose steering rack. check for failed engine mounts . Check for loose deflector plate under front of vehicle.
bad motor mounts will cause some issues, bad CV joints will also cause and issue. You will need to check for both. Being a 99 you will also want to check teh front differential for the proper fluid level, this is not the same as the transmission.
yes you do have to lower the engine so that the bolt will slide out threw the bottom of the inner fender frame. it is a pain to do this. take out the bottom motor mount alont with the top mounts on the motor but make sure u put a jack stand under the mount that sits under the motor so the motor does not fall
