What fuse controls Freestar power windows

They should be controlled by the same fuse, most likely it is the Power Window Switch or Motor. I would check those first.

The windows on my crv wont work

at all stations?
all fuses, in both boxes. (did you read the operators guide to find them,
some cars have a circuit break (thermal) for windows,
and is located in the fuse box.
all this info is at alldata.com
ill look. ill respond , as you are a pro DIY person, can read schematics. if not , its just a guessing game.
IT IS a FUSE, not a breaker. but each motor in door has CB.
UNDER HOOD 40am Fuse #13
then fuse 23 underdash and fuse 8 same.
then the relay.same place.
and the relay is controlled by, master station (drivers)
the driver location doesnt need the relay to work.
the relay feeds power to all other window controls
so the master station is unique.
log in to alldata.com and see the pages on power windows.
here are some tid bits.
battery pull warning

Resetting the power window control unit is required after performing the following procedures: Disconnecting the battery, Removing the No. 6 (7.5 A) and/or the No. 23 (20 A) fuses from the under-dash fuse/relay box or disconnecting the driver's door wire harness.
and
window relearn/reset.

  2. Move the driver's window all the way down by holding the driver's switch firmly down; when the window reaches the bottom, hold the driver's window switch firmly down for 2 seconds.
  3. Move the driver's window all the way up by holding the driver's switch firmly up; when the window reaches the top, hold the driver's window switch firmly up for 2 seconds.
  4. If the window does not work in AUTO, turn the ignition switch OFF and repeat the procedure.

Power windon fuse

There are really 2 fuses that control your power windows and they are located in the power distribution box inside your engine compartment. If all your windows aren't working you may have other problems though. In the number 6 position in the box (see picture below) is a 30 amp fuse that fuse controls your drivers side window. The fuse in the number 10 position (30 amp) controls the passenger and vent windows but also is the fuse for the radio. I hope this helps a little anyway and good luckclifford224_92.jpg

What could cause my power locks and windows to not work replaced master control window switch Thanks

You may have blown the Power lock & window fuses when you replaced the master control window switch. Go to fuse box and check for blown fuses. Be sure to replace with same value of fuse.

Need to replace fuse for the power windows... do not know which fuse port is for the power windows and I have no manual to assist me... does anyone know which fuse port holds the fuse to the power windows...

the power windows are controlled through the Body Control Module. this module controls the windows through a circuit breaker under the hood in the relay and fuse box located near the master cylinder, it is
Position #62 30A CB Power windows circuit breaker, I really doubt this is the problem, but check it, if u have a short circuit the circuit breaker will be hot to the touch.

Is there a fuse or factory reset for the drivers door switch. The only controls that work are rear window controls. The mirror control, front window controls, and lock/unlock do not work. Passenger...

Yeah, there is fuse.I suggest you pull each fuse out and check it.Make sure wire in the fuse is in one piece. If broken ,replace it .If no fuses are blown, then your problem is in the switch itself.Locate junkyard and purchase used one instead buy a new.It will save you some money.

Fuses

On the under-hood fuse panel. Number 6 is a 20 amp fuse that controls Right Rear Power window Motor, #7 is a 29 amp and controls the right front power window motor. #11 is a 20 amp fuse and it controls the Left Rear power window motor and switch... #12 is a 20 amp fuse and controls Left front power window motor and switch. There is also a relay with the letter C I believe marked on the lid that controls the Power windows. Not sure if your car is a four door or not and you might have another fuse inside the vehicle in the fuse panel that is #10 fuse that also controls the power window relay. I have the information and drawings of your fuse panels if you would like them sent to you. Send me your email and a shortcut to this posting and I will send you them. outdoorsman592003@gmail.com

Where is power window control unit located

usually power windows have a relay that sends current to the windows due to the high current flow that the switch can not handle.
So, the switch works through a fuse and when you activate the switch it sends power to the relay. The relay then closes and sends power to the window motor. Look for a relay either in the fuse panel or in the engine compartment fuse/relay ox. check owner manual for location.
