Hot wire a 2005 Nissan Exterra

2 or more wires are involved.
The steering wheel lock is a secondary part. Remove lock. you may be able to then turn the inside switch to crank an start the car with some device. The break pedal may need pressing to start also. Hot wireing needs the wire diagram and most cars have an anti-thief so the key is the best idea. Other car care tips are here.

The locks on my Xterra have been locking on their own randomly. I'm not sure what could be the problem.

Possibly one of the electric lock switches has gotten wet or is malfunctioning.

My 2007 Nissan Xterra doors locked on their own

Most likely you've got a timed lock programed into your menu parameters. You will have to go to your main vehicle instrumental menu and clear that option. This may have been inadvertantly done by one of the other operators of the vehicle.

When should i change my timing belt on my xterra 2003 with 68000 miles

do it before the 1 in there breaks and smash's ur valves into the pistons.
there only good for 80,000km not miles .anyways if it's weather'd a few years then god only knows, that's extra wear. change it now before yours breaks.

I need to change the break light on a nissan xterra 2003

I have never seen a car with a break light. Does it come on when the car breaks? See owners manual to change a stop light bulb that comes on when you step on the brakes.

Gear shift knob

The shifter knobs on these vehicles is installed very very tightly.

I have never been able to remove one without ruining it by tearing the cover, which should not be a big issue since you're replacing it.

The knob threads on like a nut would (lefty-loosy, righty-tighty). I use a large set of channel-lock pliers and they are still tough to break loose.

Good luck and I hope that this is helpful!
