2001 nissan sentra overheats and stops running

Skip compression test, the results will be misleading. replace the head gasket on this series of Sentra. The first symptoms are that it take slightly longer to starting when it has been shut off warm for about an hour

Car warms up then will not start again until the car cools down. It has a new starter, new battery. but it has this aftermarket alarm & remote start that was a problem, wondering if I should rip out...

I'm not sure. But I know some remote starter only run for awhile the shut down.. It also could be the distributor module. When it gets warm it shuts down your engine.. I hoped this helped a little.

2004 sentra has dual cooling fans the fan on passenger side doesnt come on its new and will work if i jump it where is the fuse or relay that controls it

I'm not sure about the sentra, but I know that in my 1998 Eclipse, which has a dual cooling fan, one of the fans is a backup. You might want to make sure of that before you go buying fuses and relays.
