One is the main feed line to the engine
One is for the venting, or return line
The other one is for the emissions evaporative canister

Repaired two fuel lines ,removed sending unit from tank, can't remember which lines go where three lines from engine .

Can you identify or remember which pipe on the sending unit, the pump module, is the main outlet from the pump?
The three lines are the main feed or pressure line to the engine, the return line from the engine to the tank-this line is often smaller than the main line. And the third line is not a fuel line, but the vent line for fumes from the enclosed tank to the charcoal canister. This line may be identifiable by pipe diameter being smaller, or sometimes using rubber hoses with it, or maybe just a little offstanding from the other two lines. The main line (pressure line) will be the line that has the fuel filter in it. You can identify the main line this way, then just figure out where it connects onto the tank, and sort out the other two lines-the return line and the (?smaller?) vent line.

I have a 98 buick regal, I broke the middle line

If you didn't get any fuel coming out then it's a vent line. The other two are the feed and the return fuel lines.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 5.7 vt clubsport 2000 model

The fuel pump on vt are located inside the fuel tank .
To gain access to this you will need minium amount of fuel in the tank and raise the vehicle on a hoist.
you will then need to gentle support the tank with a transmission jack.
remove the three nlack metal straps holding the tank very slowly lower the tank .
you will have plastic fuel lines connect on the top of the tank remove fuel lines and mark them to where they come off from.
once this is done you can now lower the tank you will see the large white sender unit u need to remove this to get to the fuel pump.

if you you would like to know anything else please ask.

My gas tank leaks. How do I go about replacing it? It seems to have three fuel lines to the tank. One is a small diameter line and the other two are larger, I am assuming one of these might be a return...

if you take and clamp off the hoses and remove them from the tank, then support the fuel tank, remove the fuel tank holding straps then lower the tank, disconnect the wiring and make sure there is nothing else connected to the fuel tank, remove fuel tank transfer any components to the new tank and re-install.

1999 grand voyager le how do i replace fuel filter

Hello,

To replace the fuel filter of Your 1999 grand voyager, please follow the steps below, You will be in need of these instruments, Line wrench set, 3/8-inch ratchet and socket set, Replacement fuel filter kit.
  1. Park the 1999 Grand Voyager in a ventilated area and engage the emergency brake,
  2. Walk to the back of the 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager and completely unscrew the gas cap from the fill neck on the gas tank. Taking the cap off will remove the pressure in the fuel filter.
  3. Jack the back of the 1999 Grand Voyager up and put the jack stands under the rear jack points. Slowly release the jack so that the van is sitting evenly and securely on the jack stands.
  4. Slide under the passenger-side rear of the van behind the tire. Locate the fuel filter that is mounted to the upper part of the gas tank. This type of fuel filter has three fuel lines coming out of it.
  5. Position the drip pan under the gas tank in the general vicinity of the fuel filter. Using a clean rag, compress the fuel lines on the ends. The fuel lines are held to the fuel filter by a plastic clip. Compressing the end of the fuel line will unlock the fuel line from the clip. Pull out on the fuel lines. Do this to all three of the fuel lines.
  6. Remove the bolt from the fuel filter bracket with the 3/8-inch drive ratchet and a 3/8-inch drive socket. Then, pull the fuel filter out of the bracket and put it into the drip pan.
  7. Position the new fuel filter into the bracket. Screw the mounting bolt in and tighten it down tight with the ratchet and socket.
  8. Push all three fuel lines onto the appropriate fuel filter ports. Hook the fuel lines to the same fuel filter ports that they were hooked to on the old filter.
  9. Pull the drip pan out from under the van. Screw the gas cap back onto the fill neck of the gas tank until it clicks. Then, turn the ignition key on and off five different times. Crank the engine on the fifth turn of the ignition. Inspect the new fuel filter for leaks while the engine is running. Then, turn the engine off.
  10. 1999 Grand Voyager back up and pull the jack stands out from under the van. Lower the van back to the ground and slide the jack out.
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

Gas runs out all the time gas gauge works when it wants to

Sounds like you have a broken tank or tank connection. The sending unit ( hanger ) has the gas pump and the gauge sender in the one unit htatgoes into the top of thetank. the tank has to be lowered to see. theirs three lines connected with snap on fuel connecters that take a line toolto release them. some methinol fuels will eat the seals out of these and rot the float for the fuel sender. If the tank has been hit hard from the bottom theirs a baffle that can come adrift and run into the hanger breaking the lines as they go though the top of the tank making a leak course you coulda run over something that punctureed and bent the tank.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 94 ford ecoline 150 van

If it is in the stock location it is in the largest of the three lines that come out of the fuel tank. Trace the fuel fill tube from the fuel cap to the tank. Look around the tank for the three lines. The largest is fuel out to the engine. The filter will be in that line. The others are the fuel return line and the line to the carbon canister.
