Put car into reverse with ignition on (not running) and either listen very closely or feel each sensor with your finger tips, you should hear a clicking noise or feel a ticking on the good sensors. once you have determined the faulty one simply release the two plastic retaining clips and push the sensor through the bumper inwards, then remove plug and fit new sensor

E46 330d sport, manual, 2003 (204bhp) Engine wont turn over, all ignition lights on and battery is strong, car will start if bump started (rolled downhill then let clutch out) then you can turn it off and...

This is likely having to do with the starting circuit. Have the glow plugs and circuit tested. The glow plugs can easily be tetsed for "proof positive" failure. Let me know what else I can do. Great little cars.

Bmw 330d ...black smoke when idleing

Valve stem oil seal is worn. It doesn't smoke when injector disconnected because no compression as cylinder not firing with no fuel.

Turn the ignition on my 330d fuel pump buzzing ok all the lights ok but no power to starter, no click nothing. shorted out starter motor terminals and motor works

test power to starter with a voltmeter while someone else turns the key. if you are getting power, than solenoid is faulty. If you are not getting power, than relay or ignition switch is bad. Do double check your battery connections to make sure they are metal to metal contact.
