Question about 1998 Mitsubishi Galant

HI I have a Mitsubishi galant 98 ...while I was driving I heard a rear wound and I stopped the car...but then I try to drive again but the car won't go forward not in reverse ...I noticed that the transmission oil was empty so I filled more oil but still the car is not moving forward nor backward...please advice

Don't shot the messenger but without tranny fluid your transmission may have cooked itself. I hope I am wrong but I expect you'll need to rebuild or replace the tranny.

No dashboard/odometer lights and no rear lights


just go to the fuse box in the engine compartment and look for the (red 1Oamp) tail light fuse... it might be broken just replace and that should solve your problem.

Windshield wipers slow, then stop working and then come on again


I have a 98 Montero Sport. My wipers paused and went then they stopped completly. Come to find out the grease inside the wiper motor had dried out so I put some grease in it and walla works like new. Better then spending 200 on a new wiper motor ^_^

Oil light came on car shut down


Sounds like the oil pump went bad.
Also check the oil sending unit,and the antiknock sensor.

Gas pump, timing belt, coil Distributor pickup coil, a number of things, look for the 3 elements, gas spark and air
