Check for an air leak in the air suspension system, if there is an air leak the system will continually run until it burns out the ride level compressor.

I have a 1995 cadillac seville that reads service ride control

Generally speaking, the warning light is telling you the air suspension is faulty or one of the ride adjustable struts can't be controlled by the body computer.
You will need to figure out what the problem is to proceed. Cadillac had big problems with the speed sensitive struts and most people disregard the light if that is the problem.
