The dealer seat cover will be too expensive. Your best bet, is to go to an auto upholstery shop, and have them remove the covers ,and redo the inserts that are worn.
There is no other way to stop wear or patch up a seat.
You could dye it,if it isn't ripped,if that's your question.

What is the best product for revitalising soft leather upholstery on a Bentley Turbo R?

Hi Tim

I trust you are well

I would suggest using Dubin it is an all round leaher protection just make sure once you have applied it and let it dry that you polish it to make sure it does not mark your clothes alternatively you can buy a "leather Food" product. Try speaking to someone who rides horses they normally have leaher care products that they use on their saddles and leather products.

Hope this helps

kind regards

I own a 1996 328i BMW, and the drivers automatic seat adjustment Tilt only goes back and will not come forward. Is this a simple fix or do I neede to replace the seat? I know if I go back any further with...

Very common problem. The white plastic gear in the tilt mechanism gets old and brittle and breaks.
BMW will want to sell you a whole gear box with motor. Aside from the outrageous cost, removing that gearbox is a pain.
Odometergears.com will sell you just the plastic gear for $40, and their website has wonderful instructions that show you how to replace it quickly and easily.
You will have to remove the seat from the car. Put some old socks over the tips of the seat rails that unbolt from the floor because the seat is rather heavy and awkward to handle, and the tips of those seat rails are very sharp and will cut up the interior and exterior of your car if they touch anything as you wrestle with the seat DAMHIK.
The other tip is to be careful not to over-tighten the screws that hold the cover on the gear box, They are not very strong and will twist in two easily. Again.. Don't ask...
Unrelated, but if the leather on your driver seat is shot, you can use the leather from a junk yard passenger seat to freshen up your driver seat. The seat bottom is replaced foam and all. Don't bother trying to save the plastic snaps, just pry the seat bottom up and put in new snaps. The leather on the seat back has to be removed from the seat and transferred, but it is not difficult.

A wire poked through the front passenger seat. I

it's a black enamel coated thick WIRE or a cable/electrical lead?
If it's a strong steel wire in black enamel it is most likely a part of the seat's reinforcement. Are there overweight passengers often sitting in there? Anyways I can't really imagine what tool could cut it nice plain enough -that's not the way! you could miss that "spare" part.
look underneath your seat from the back, use a pocket torch to light it up there. Then look underneath it from the front using a mirror and lighting the spot from the back passenger's footspace with a torch. If you don't have a handy little mirror, borrow one from a woman-they always have one.
you can pull it in from underneath the seat. You might need to remove the upholstery to get proper access though.
If you're unsure, consider a visit at a Ford shop or an upholstery apecialist.

Seats (grey/leather) -1995 900 Turbo SE

Neoprene two tone seat covers are available at State of Nine but are pricey. You can spend about $250 and perform a DIY leather repair and dye job to the entire interior. Here is what I did, using leather cream crack filler and auto leather dye. It lasts about three years and then requires touching up.

Wearing of leather on top of driver door from resting arm.

well i hate to tell ya this, but regular wear and tear of your vehicle isn't ever covered, its known that if you rub on some thing enough it will wear out. leather seats will crack when cold, they don't tell you to not sit down if your seats are cold, they don't tell you not to stab your seat with a knife, but that will ruin it. i'm not trying to be a **** but it happens. you can try to clean it though with leather conditioners, and cleaners, and you can try to put some thing over it to keep this from getting worse, other than that all I can tell you is to try to keep your arm off of this panel.

Spot on leather seat

This is not a job for the home mechanic, call the dealer and ask them to refer you to a company who does this for a living, they do work for the used car dept.
