Fuel pressure may be an issue or the maf, or the o2 sensor. What year is the benz and what model?

The fuel distributor that lets fuel may not be operating correctly at start up and not feeding extra fuel/ or not enough fuel at start up. I would buy off the duty cycle would not be set correctly either. Head to benzworld.org for alot of hand on experience in troubleshooting this.

First question I always ask is, do you have a check engine light? If not, I would check the fuel pressure.

Need to know why a 97 mercury cougar won't start until cooling fan and fuel pump stop running

I would think it's a problem with (CCRM) constant control relay module . This module has relay's inside that control the fuel pump , cooling fans , A/C compressor clutch , PCM - engine computer power relay . And thier are electronics involved , solid state circuity . Google CCRM

How do i reset the maint required light on a toyota sennea van

disconnect the battery for 30 secs. and then reconnect it. this will clear the ECM...and shut that light off. however, that light will come back on in about 10 mins,if you havent fixed the problem that caused it to come on in the 1st place.

Fuel pressure intermittently drops causing sputter and die.

check for 12v constant at your fuel pump if you are not getting that replace your relay.
if you are getting 12 volts at your fuel pump the fuel pump is possible to run tuel it gets warm then shut down to a lower rpm I would then replace the fuel pump

You most likely have a bad fuel pump. Very common symptoms your describing, If your handy try squirting some brake cleaner into the throttle body when this happens. If it starts you now know what to do. Also be sure the battery terminals are clean. Voltage drops can cause a fuel pump not to run or run ineffeciently.
