Can be a number of things. check and see what codes are being shown. another thing to check is have someone remove oil cap while you crank it. if they dont see the rockers moving then you need to replace the camshaft sprocket. could also be that the ecm..otherwise known s the brain box is shot, whih is super easy to replace and costs around$125. start with pulling those codes that i mentioned..and go fro there.

ALWAYS check for the least expensive stuff first!

If the crank sensor is bad could I still have fire but just not firing right? Or should I say if I have fire does that automatically mean the crank sensor is good and could it make the motor turnslowr

the purpose of a crank sensor is to fire the plugs at the correct time in relation of the piston position
with out that knowledge of where the piston is, the ECM will not initiate a spark ( if it is bad or there is a wiring problem the default is no spark)
so crank sensors either work or they don't and have no bearing on the rpms of the motor
the cam sensor on the other hand identifies where the valves are in relation to the piston position and tell the ECM to vary the valve timing in relation to engine rpms
they either work or don't and mostly when they don't it is because of a broken belt or chain or wiring( again the default is no spark)
the problem may be from a faulty accelerator position sensor or throttle position motor or the ECM has placed the system i limp mode
best advice is to have the fault codes read and determine exactly where the problem is

Cranks backfires

That could be a timing issues when it back fires
Why ,no idea, not a question you can guess at as we do here
Could also be a vacuum leak & lean fuel mix
When you say cranks the motor turns over nothing else
Cranking has nothing to do with the motor starting or running
You have a no start & back fire as I gather

Motor is miss firing p3o3 changer ecu after few mins mis fires is my crank position sensor not reading the third cylinder for some reason i did a motor swap ran new motor 3 or 4 hours had miss shift...

your crank position sensor does not read individual cylinders, only the position of the crank shaft. make sure the plugs and wires are good, check the spark coming from the coil, make sure there are no vacuum leaks at intake manifold, check timing, then do a leak down test to make sure you don't have a bent or damaged valve in the cylinder head.

Car firing but will not start plugs sooty

You could try the Clear Flood procedure....Throttle wide open and crank engine . This sometimes works, but.....

These engines suffer from fuel wash down. The gasoline washes away the oil in the cylinders.....and compression goes away, not making the fuel fire off.

The film of oil in the cylinders and rings seals the piston to the bore making for good compression.

Remove the spark plugs....crank over the motor to eject raw fuel...dribble a couple of spoonfuls of motor oil down each plug hole and crank briefly.

Install plugs and try restart.
