It's certainly an electrical issue... sounds like an ignition wire (could be contacts in the ignition switch) is grounding out on the chassis or a wire harness is loose and causing intermittent loss of power... maybe even the PCM

I hate electrical problems as they are often hard to find, especially with the quantity of wires that are in a vehicle these days... but being intermittent, I would think that the problem is in the ignition circuit.

Check the battery for voltage, I know it's wacky, but low voltage can cause your symptoms in the Jeeps. You may need a new one.

If my gas gauge doesnt work can it just be a fuse

Doubt it.
The same fuse for the gauge would handle the rest of the cluster.
Probably the sending unit in the tank.

Gas gauge wont go past half it stops at half and will go to empty but never past half

There is a fuel gauge sensor in your fuel tank. If the sensor is out of place, it will not read the amount of gas in your tank correctly if it is out of place. This is a fixable job, but I recommend a ceritfied mechanic. Hope this helps! Please give 4 thumbs up!

The speedometer goes past 120 the gas gauge goes past empty or full the battery gauge turns all the way around

{: ) Something is terribly wrong with your cluster. I doubt if reprogramming can fix that. A scan tool can read the actual values for these gauges. If they dont match, then you may have to replace your cluster. If scan tool reads abnormal too, then the wirings and other modules must be diagnosed first.
