Hello,

The remote needs to be reprogrammed.

Procedure:-
Stand close to the car with the engine switched off and all doors locked up.
Hold down the open and close buttons on the remote fob for 10 minutes
After then press the open and close key simultaneously for 5 seconds.

That should do the trick.

Good luck.

The remote start may need to be reprogrammed. The manual for remote start will tell you how to do this.

I have a coolstart remote starter on my 2005 Honda Accord and recently my battery died. After replacing my battery the remote start would not start the car. The engine cranks but does not start.

Need to bring back to whomever installed remote start for them to reprogram the remote start. Seems it needs to be re mated to cars system.

My remote car starter from autostart on a grand am 03 won't start or locks won't work after it died for about a week then changed the batteries

Check to be sure the new battery is a good new one, they set on the shelves for some time ya know. Then make sure it goes in the correct direction. Then refer to your owners manual if it needs reprogrammed.

I had a aftermarket remote start installed a month ago and since then it either has not worked properly or newest is my car is acting like the battery is being disconnected constantly, I.E. when i start...

I would take it back,Jeeps are very complicated in the anti theft
department.
Sounds like the remote sets off the anti-theft because it starts the engine without "permission" from the vehicle.
(I think the computer needs to see the actual rotation of the ignition switch)
I would check and see if Jeep has a factory parts counter unit available.

Battery in the remote died and now the alarm keeps going off when we try to do anything. we replaced the battery in the remote but the car won't start and the alarm keeps going on

When the alarm goes off, it disables the starter circuit. You'll want to have your key fob (remote) checked for proper operation at an authorized Hyundai Service Department. If you inserted the new battery in backwards, the remote will not work. It also needs to be the remote originally programmed for the vehicle.

Remote not working, why

Sometimes they just stop working, idk why, sometimes the battery dies. Try this: lock the doors with the switch in the car - turn the from off to on without starting the car eight times ending in the on position - the locks should unlock then lock themselves - then press unlock on the remote - the lock should unlock - turn the key to off and remove then try the remote again. If nothing happened, replace the battery and try to program again. if that doesn't work, get a new remote.
