Are you using all factory plugs ?truck has running lights but they arent working on trailer ? I would check the bulbs in the trailer sounds like a single filliment instead of a double , the bulb for the stop and run are the same when u look at it it should have 2 small wires across bulb , not one . well let me know

It sounds like you need a new flasher relay. You can get it at your local automotive store. Make sure you get one that is heavy duty enough. If you often tow a trailer with lights, you will want the heavy duty one.

03 Ford F250 does not send power to trailer plug

Go to your fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the fuses in the box. Your turn signals and brakes to your trialer are controlled fron fuses in that box not inside the truck!

We have a 2003 f250 super duty. We have no power

Check fuse #6 20amp on your interior fuse panel it may be blown. The relays are located in an auxillary relay box located under the hood on the drivers side fender near the firewall. The system uses 2 relays. One relay turns on for left turn signal, other relay turns on for right signal. Both relays turn on for brake lamps. The fuse #6 is more likely the problem. If the fuse is blown, replace it, wiggle the wiring on the trailer while someone steps on brakes to check for shorts.

No 12 volt power source going to the trailer to charge trailer battery and lights - 7 pin trailer plug - need an answer fast - on the road!

Sorry you are having trouble.
The normal for 7 pin conectors is
Red=Aux power
Purple= back up lights or hydraulics
Green=right stop and turn
Yellow=left stop and turn
White=ground
Blue=electric brake
Brown=side markers

The red is fused so follow this line to the source and/or the fuse

I hope this helps

Check the plug at the back of the truck for corrosion. The brown wire entering the truck plug should be the the running lights, if no juice at truck plug in, you need to trace it back to the source looking for broken, pinched, wires, or poor connections.

fix the plug,car or trailer, and check the wiring and bulb sockets in the trailer
bigger fuses are equal to burnt wiring harness or fires in either vehicle
