Be more discriptive than that... check your vaccum lines under the hood for cracks.

What causes my 1947 Chevy Truck to not start when warmed up

Here's what you seem to be saying. It does start when the engine is cold...cold enough to require choking to obtain needed fuel richness for starting. But then, when the engine has attained operating temperature, if you happen to kill the engine it will refuse to start. Logic and induction seems to suggest a flooding problem due to a choke that is not unchoking when it is not needed and is attempted to be released. So look to choke malfunction as the first problem needing to be resolved. Then, post again if the no-start problem still persists.

How to open a 273-0069 snap choke core

There is a lip, opposite the hinge you just lift with a fingernail and the choke pops open.. Don't be confused with the 2 tabs on either side. They hold the ceramic pieces in place.

There is no choke on any car after 1983 that has fuel injection

The car doesn't seem to do whatever

There is no guessing, you have to have the car & do the proper
testing to resolve any issue

Have a repair shop do that

If you recently changed the air filter you may have pushed up to ******* the top that is connected to the air filter hose and it pulled out a secondary rubber hose that seems like it goes into the top of what looks like the manifold at top of motor. I have a 2006 is250 I did that and engine choked and shook and check engine light came on I found the hose and reconnected it and it ran fine, to rest the check engine light you have to disconnect battery and reconnect and it clears it.

Seems like the choke on my 1989 ford ranger is stuck. How can I repair it?

Does your truck have manual control or automatic control of choke? Did you check the throttle positioning sensor?

I have a 1990 nissan patrol. When i start the car te idle races off to 2300 RPM. The Auto choke seems to be free to move, and if i manually hold the auto choke off it stabalises at 1000 RPM

you can check for vacuum leaks use a short piece of hose like a stethoscope = no . try setting the and yellow part. loosen the screws and twist it counter clockwise, this should take it out of the high idle mode. the heater in the choke might be bad, ohm it and test for power

1985 Nissan 720 ext. cab pickup problem

You need to adjust the automatic choke. Your choke may not be opening fully. There is a fast idle cam linked to the choke to keep the throttle open more until the engine is warm. The idle mixture screw is part 37 in the picture, but get the choke adjusted right first, and you may not have to adjust the mixture screw. See adjustment procedures at link beloe.

Driving and when want to speed up the accelerator just stays in the same speed or slows down

It seems as if you are driving with the choke engaged all the time. If you haven't pulled the choke then check the business end where you might see the choke lever stuck in a position that indicates the choke has been pulled. Push it back manually and try again.....sodeep
