Gren light is never a warning , I think it's related to trany mode. You probably accidently push ed botton for transmission mode selector.
Regarding RPM it may be separate issue.

What is ect-pwr when the green light comes on for the Toyota Estima 2002 diesel minivan

ECT is an acronym for Electronically Controlled Transmission and the ECT PWR button is a function of the redesigned transmission. When pressed, the ECT PWR button will adjust shift points so you can reach higher RPM levels before shifting into the next gear.

Rpm does not drop below 1000

No,only on carburated engines it,idles down to the set point,on yours,it's fuel injected, pushing gas pedal won't kick idle down, should go down after a certain amount of time, does it automatically,If you start and drive a 5 mile ride and stop at a stop sign,it should idle at it's set point if there's no engine problems, which may be.5 to .7 on your tac. When you normally first start,it will idle between 1000 to 1200 rpm's,don't push on gas,let idle say 15 seconds, put in drive and go.

Misfire, idles high

I would start with ect. That is the engine coolant temperature (sensor). That sensor monitors the coolant temp and tells the computer to increase engine RPM so the engine warms up faster. In the mornings when you first start your car and it idols high, that sensor is sending that information. If you have a code for this sensor start there.

What does ECT PWR green light on dash mean? It just popped up at 160k

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The ECT PWR light is on because someone has inadvertantly bumped the switch. Look on the console, by the shifter, or on the dash for a switch labeled ECT. Turn it off, and the light will go out.

The ECT PWR mode, when activated, increases the time that the transmission shifts up thru the gears. Without the mode selected, the first shift would be at 18-20 mph. With the mode selected, the first shift would be 20-22 mph. This mode basically allows the shift to occur later, and is normally used when you are towing something, or if you have a large load of cargo in the car.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance. Have a great day.

Need info on timing belt 1998 hyundai elantra

The timing belt is normally replaced at 100,000 km (approx. 60,000 mi), but must be checked for wear and tear starting 75,000 km(approx. 45,000 mi) along with a major tune-up.

The switch near the shifter is the ECT (transmission control) which selects NORMal driving mode, and PoWeR mode. It is the battle between economy (NORM) and driving performance (PWR). As tested, the PWR mode delays your A/T upshift to a higher RPM. This utilizes your engine's higher revs, but really cuts into fuel economy.

Hope this helps.

P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit

ECT stands for engine coolant temperature. So I would start by making sure that your engine coolant system is not leaking and is full of coolant. If you want to tackle the job yourself you could purchase Haynes techbook # 10206 OBD -2 and electronic engine management systems or check your local library they may have a copy and they have troubleshooting steps you can do with a scan tool or multimeter. Good luck and hopefully this helps you a little.

1989 toyota corolla rpm goes down than up

First thing to look for would be vacuum leaks. Make sure all your hoses are good and tight, and no cracks. With the engine running, wiggle them around and listen for a hissing. Then check all your intake bolts for tightness. You may have a leaking EGR valve, or a plugged PCV. Make sure your air filter is clean. Try those for a start, and let me know. Good luck.
