I agree with drsinister69... you may need to take a closer look at your springs... Also, i know it sound stupid but, check your tire pressure and bushings... i know with my truck plus or minus 10 lb of tire pressure can drastically change the driving characteristics...

...also, regarding the tire wear, you should definitely bring it in for an alignment... tow, caster, camber all effect overall ride quality....

You may have some worn coil and/or leaf springs. Unless you got some defective shocks? Or did you get a sport or after-market shock?

What are some causes of CTM-1 capacitors blowing?

capacitors are in the system to adsorb current flow and then discharge it back at the appropriate time
For them to fail indicates is incorrect voltage being applied that is altering the current flow

Front is low !!

To alter the vehicles ride hight is a drastic and costly solution. The shock adsorbers will not alter the ride hight as it's the strut assy that determines the vehicles hight, Also ensure there are no excessively heavy items in the trunk . A broken exhaust mounting will lower underside clearences. Check and inspect all mountings. It would be worth measuring your kerd side height with a similar vehicle. I presume you don't mean , side skirts added at a later date on vehicle. Good Luck

Gas shocks won't work but the air shocks should get you "up" and running again.

Air adjustable ride control, not working with new shocks

a common problem for this is when the hook up the shocks, the air line plugs in the rubber o-ring is missing. go back to the shop that did it. if you did it, go the the dealer and get 2 new o-rings and install them between the shock and air line. best of luck.

Rear Air Shock Problems

The car will still run level due to the fact the springs are holding them up. If the shocks are wet there internal seals are shot, so it is time to replace them.

Removal and replacement of lower shock bushing while still on car?

Burned out the old bushing, cleaned up the shock mount and pressed in the new bushing using two 1 and 1/4 sockets and a bolt and nut tightning to press the new bushing in. Worked like a charm. Better than Jaguars solution of removing the shock. Oh yes, light grease on the bushing and shock mount. Paul
