I have a 04 dodge 2500 diesel a.c. blower motor works intermitenly i can wiggle key and sometime blower will work.does this circuit for blower go thru multifunction switch or ignition switch?what could be...

Yes the power goes from the ignition switch to the fan switch. My guess would be the blower motor resistor is going bad. Check for a melted wire connector at the resistor.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram diesel. Can you tell me where the resistor for the blower motor is located ?

It's right next to the blower, above the passenger's feet. See pic below.

jturcotte_37.jpg
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Reach under the instrument panel near the blower motor and disconnect the wire harness connector from the blower motor resistor.
  3. Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing.
  4. Remove the blower motor resistor from the HVAC housing.

How to change blower motor in a 2004 dodge ram 1500, my blower quit working & i tested the blower & it works & a friend told me that the switch is bad .

Good Evening. Unfortunately it could be the switch, or it could just be the blower motor resistor, which is where i would look for power coming out of to the blower motor first and foremost. I hope this helps your situation, and if you have aany jmore questions please feel free to ask.

Where is the resistor for the a/c blower

Hello BonnEasterwo
The blower moter resistor is located behind the right side of the dash at
the blower moter. The blower relay is in the power ctr. on the fender
under the hood(srt) #4 40amp. Hope this helps.

Ac not blowing hard

check the blower motor resistor mounted next to the blower motor. behind the glove box. after removing the resistor test each terminal with a continuity tester .check between each input terminal(from the blower speed switch side) to the output terminal (to the blower) there should be continuity. if not replace the resistor.

Heater blower motor only runs on the highest setting. I have replaced the blower motor itself. What could be the problem?

if you are getting only one speed from the blower motor then it would be the (blower motor resistor) causeing the problem. the blower motor resistor is located under the dash on the passenger side next to the blower motor. unplug connector and remove two screws from housing. to test the resistor connect a continuity tester to the resistor. check between the input to the output sides of the resistor for continuity. if not replace the resistor.

04 dodge ram 2500 has no power going to blower motor

I don't know if this will be the same as my 96 but there is a bulletin from chrysler about these losing power at a relay above the steering column that is specifically for the blower motor. Call your local dodge dealer and ask them if your truck has a bulletin for this exact problem. Also there is a blower motor resistor held in by 2 screws right near the blower motor. Check there for power first.
I hope this helps.

Blower motor makes loud noise when on high

I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with the same problem, vibrating blow fan when on high, pulled the blower fan out and found a piece of the hinge from the recirculation door and felt the recirculation door sitting up on the vent of its hinge. Crappy engineering once again.
