Is there an access for 1991Lincoln Contenental fuel pump without dropping the fuel tank

I'm not certain, but I don't think so. They hadn't figured that out by 1991. However, you can eyeball the tank where it is situated under the car-look for where the access to tank's fuel pump is on top of the gas tank. Then get inside the trunk or look under the rear seat cushion to see if there is a round access plate held by several screws. If there is one, it will be directly over the gas tank's hole for the pump and sending unit.

Engine is not recieving any fuel

plugged fuel filter or fuel injectors or bad fuel pump, try fuel injector cleaner if it runs at all,but it will take time for it to work,if not that, then change your fuel filter,it should be under your car on your fuel line coming from your gas tank, other wise it could be under your hood, without having the haynes repair manual for it you will just have to look for it,if its your fuel pump you might have to drop the tank to get at it or see if you can access it under your back seat,or you might have a fuel pump reset switch, either in glove box or trunk, you will just have to check for one because like i said without the manual its guess work

Can you change the fuel pump without dropping the gas tank?

The only way you can change one without dropping one is by a access hole. Look under your back seat. Take it out. If there is two compartments in the back, one of them is your fuel pump access lid. The other one is your float. If you can't get to it from the back seat, you will have to drop the tank. There is no way around it. Sorry.

Is there an access panel under the rear seat for replacing the fuel sending unit or the fuel pump in a 1995 Olds 88 Royale? I hope I don't have to drop the damned gas tank!

no access panel, that would be sooo easy. you'll have to drop the gas tank to replace the sending unit and i don't know how much research you've done, but i've never been able to buy just the sending unit by itself. i've had to buy the whole fuel pump.the more fuel thats in the tank, the heavier it's gonna be. have a jack handy, have a helper handy, and use jack stands! you sure don't want the car to fall on you.the main filler hose will have to come off and there is a return line hose that has to come off also.the fuel pump plugs into the tank on the top of tank,be careful dropping that tank, let it down easy! you can cause an electrical problem if you let those wires stretch. been there, done that. drain the gas out of the tank once you get it down,it'll be easier to reinstall and lighter, easier to put back into place. hope this helps, and good luck. thank you for choosing

I have a 01 Acura 3.5RL and the fuel pump is not running.I sprayed starter fluid in the throttle but it still did not start. I seen where one person said you have to drop the gas tank to change pump and...

No your not. If you removed the back seat and there was no access plate and there was also no access plate in the trunk then you will have to drop the gas tank to replace the fuel pump. Good luck!

Fuel pump 1997 kia sephia

The back seat should come out easily, and you can look. I have had two cars with fuel pumps gone bad, a camaro and a Honda. Neither had an access panel, and dropping the tank is a major pain as has several lines going to it plus electrical wires. W/ Camaro, also need to remove rear axle first. What I did was look where the fuel lines go to t he top of the tank, and using a drill, drill a series of closely spaced holes directly above the fuel pump. After holes are drilled, can "connect the dots" w/ a sharp cold chisel and hammer, and make your own access panel, and remove pump from inside car. Reinstall panel and seal with silicone or duct tape. Worked great for me.
