Well if your leaking water in your car in the middle of the seats or on the back of the seats it has to be the seal on your back window. If its the sides or edge of the seats check your rear passenger doors. I would take like a bucket of water and start at the back window and make sure u get the entire seal wet. I put my money on the rear window. If its the doors then those seals are pretty cheap. Good luck

ive been reading up on your problem i see what u mean now. Aparently your not the only one with the problem fairly common actually. Couple people had same issue and they state they have it on passanger side with 1" of water in there battery compartment and had to replace battery and heater in the seat. Its the "B piller" Good luck sorry for the confusion

kind of a strange spot but if the seal is bad this is what it will do if that pillar leaks. i would take the cover off and take a look in there.

My 2000 honda civic has a leak in either the tail light or trunk leaking into the passenger compartment on the drivers side

I am assuming the water comes in when it rains.
Could be the trunk gasket or the tail light.
You may need a body shop to find the leak.

You could have a broken or weak rubber trunk seals or water is leaking through faulty rear window seal.

Water in front of the seat behind passenger when rains. Can not figure out where it comes from. Water accumulates even when not driving.

I have a 1993 ParK Avenue, the original owner said that when she purrchased the vehicle new in 1993, she has always had water getting into the trunk, I found water in the passenger rear floor and I assume it is through the trunk, I had water in the trunk, I drilled holes in the trunk , also in the floor of the passenger area, Yesterday I vaccuum the car and the passenger area was dry, I think a little water may enter the trunk but it will drain before it reaches the interior.

I continue to get water on the right rear floor of my 2000 buick lesabre

this is usually caused by a pluged evap drain line. raise the car and look for a tube coming from the firewall on the pass side under the heater and a/c hoses. blow air thriugh it or use a shop vac or poke something in there to clear the line be careful not to put a hole in the heater core or evap coil. also check the coolant level to make sure the heater core isnt leaking. good luck

Car trunk leaking

The most likely place that it may be coming from is the Rear window seal.
When the rear window is put in - a rubbery tar is used... and after time (especially if parked in the sun) it will shrink, and dry out.
Usually at the top of the window is the culprit.
it will involve removing the rear window CAREFULLY and replacing the seal with a 2 part epoxy.

If you have a sunroof - there is also a drain tube that may have come disconnected.
