How to repair Saturn L200 front inner tie Rods and front lower control arm

Hi Marvin Thomas. Control and tie rods come lose 3 ways.
1- Loosen bolt. Then smack as hard as you can a hammer blow to the part the shalf stud is bolted to. A couple smacks usually works it lose.

2- A pickle fork - a bar the thickness of your thum 2 feet long any part stores sells, having 2 fingers with a thum size space between and 2 inches long each, tapering to a point. Jam the fork between the parts you want to separate. A couple heffty hammer blows forces on the back end of the pickle fork usually pops the connection lose.

3-I like a powerful spray product I found a 100 uses for, made to free rust stuck parts, from Mega Power - sold online, that crawls into such fitted places - and this advantage adds to the loosening factor when nothing else does. Hope these tips help. Heres its link: http://www.auto-tune-up-and-repair-options.com/Mega-Power-120-lube-spray.html

2003 taurus Front end damaged, strong fuel smell inside car, does not go away while driving and has no apparent leak and gets about 11mpg instead of 20mpg. Any suggestion on how I can find the leak?

Have a repair shop with a gas analyzer "sniff" the car and see where you are losing fuel, also look for gas stains under the car on a car lift remember, gas evaporates quickly so you may not see anything on the ground, until you have repaired this leak your car is a fire danger to you and all who ride in it.

What does error codes: B0100 and B0140 indicate wrong on a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXL 3.6 V6 eng.?

B0100:
Perform trouble checking for the following: the front end sensor, the SDM module, the SDM wiring harness connector. Damage to the following parts needs replacement or repair. For the DTC B0100, detach the front end sensor1 connector and also detach the SDM connector. Perform trouble checking of the signal and voltage circuits between the SDM and the front end sensor for a short to voltage and for a short to ground. Reconnect all the SIR components and if the DTC B0100 is present then the front end sensor1 has to be changed.
B0104

Thumping/Banging noise at the front end.

check front-end out, immediately, could be a bad bushing/ control arm, this would need attention, asap, you could lose control of vehicle, or somethingelse is broken, shock, but the control arm / bushing is my bet. get it repaired, unsafe condition !!!

I believe i have an axle problem every time i put it in gear and lose all power theres hard banging noise ect.

Your cougar is a front wheel drive and the axles are called cv joints. Under your car going to each front wheel is a metal rod with a rubber boot at each end. Under each boot is the joint that allows the wheel to move up and down side to side while putting power to the tire. If your boots get torn, water and dirt destroy these cv joints. You can jack up the front of the car and with the motor off and trans in neutral, turn the front tires to see where the damage is at. Replacing the joints on fords takes special tools.

Front end damage air bags deployed is it fixable?

fixable possible depends on front end damage needs to go to bodyshop to have front end and frame" checked to if repairable and they should be able to replace airbags as well but will probably need a new airbag module also ? not that familiar with ford procedures and whos paying for this it wont be cheap and insurance may total it???

I have a vibration or shimmy in the front end.

If the wires were not pulled carefully, they may be damaged. The plugs were gapped and kept clean while installing? (No grime etc.) Could the wires get switched so the wrong wire is on the wrong plug? If the same problem got worse, you may be right about engine vibration.
