The door lock system consists of switches, solenoids,
a control unit and associated wiring. That's more than
I would care to take on. If the car is worth it, take it
to Honda.

Honda Civic: a locking/unlocking issue


if it is a central lock mechanism then it should lock all doors. check the motor/solenoid of each door. also the electrical connections.

Can i install remote central locking for 91 civic already has central loc not working


depending on the model of your civic. If it was an option when the car was first bought from HONDA back in the day then you can have anyone or honda install a kit for you. Good luck

You can still retain the central locking system just buy a new aftermarket alarm system in which will cost cheaper.
