Not too bad a job to do, taking your time it should take 30-45 minutes. You will need a straight screwdriver, phillips screwdriver, a small set of sockets, a clip removal tool also comes in handy.

If you have manual windows, you will need to remove the clip holding the window crank in place. Usually the clip removal tool makes easy work of it by just pushing the clip out from under the window crank handle. If you have electric windows so much the better.

Roll down the window before beginning. Now depending on how Detroit was hiding things, you should look in the area of the door pull for screws that fasten the interior door covering to the door. These might be exposed but sometimes are hidden under plastic caps or trim parts. Very carefully remove this pieces as with age they do become brittle.

Once you are rather sure you have the fastening screws out of the way, using the straight screwdriver to ease the door panel away from the door along the bottom edge. By looking inside you should see one of two methods of fasteners. The older style are simply straight push in plastic clips, you release these by simply putting enough pressure of the panel to pull the clips out. The newer method has a clip that slides down about a 1/2 inch into a matching hole. These panels are removed by lifting up on the door panel and then out.

With the panel off, you can now remove and replace the inner door handle, not much to them usually a couple of clips holding the connecting rod(s) and 3-4 bolts.

Installation is just a reversal of the removal procedure.

How do you replace the front door latch assy on 1995 Ford F150 with power windows and power door locks. I am unable to disconnect the rod that connects the latch / lock to the solenoid so I can remove and...

You will have to cut the rivet holding the lock solenoid, you will need to move the solenoid around to un-hook it from the rod.Be careful because the part the rod hooks to is plastic and i already broke mine on my 1994 Bronco.while replacing the latch, consider replacing the cable for the inside handle-they stretch and makes you pull harder on the handle until it breaks the handle off.I got tired of replacing the plastic handle so i made one out of steel at my work.

I have a 1990 Ford F150. How do I replace the

You'll need to start by removing any items that are either screwed or bolted to the door (arm-rest, handle or such) remove all trim pieces (these will typicall snap in or out or are screwed in) then remove the inner door panel, this is held in place with simple plastic fasteners, start in a lower corner and work your way towards the top (careful as often the top of these panels are hooked over the top of the door, do this last) if any of these small fasteners break, no worrys as they can be purchased at many auto parts stores. After this panel is removed you may have to some clear plastic under this inside the door shell are the window component, remove as required... Note what goes for installing back together.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

How can I dissassemble the door lock from the door handle, it looks like it is intertwined with each other. I am trying to fix the handle in a 1995 ford F 150.

The lock is manuvered by pulling on the inside door release or pulling the lockknob up. Yes they work in conjunction with each other. If you disconnect the link to the release handle the door will no longer unlock with the handle but will still open(unlock) with the key and the knob.

Replace Passenger Side Mirror on 2002 Ford F-150

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
